As a rule of thumb if you can grill it or fry it, you can air fry it potatoes obviously but also meat such as chicken, beef, pork and other meat that is usually fried, roasted or grilled.
Vegetables that can be grilled such as peppers, corncobs, zucchini, tomatoes can also be air fried. Vegetables that are usually steamed or cooked such as carrots, broccoli, beans cannot be air fried.

Spicy Country Fries. Delicious with steak!
Prep 20 min + 20 min in AirFryer (add 25 min for ActiFry)
800 g of waxy potatoes
2 small, dried chilies or 1 heaped teaspoon of freshly ground, dried chili flakes
1/2 tablespoon of freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1/2 tablespoon of curry powder
1- Preheat the AirFryer to 180 Celsius (Not necessary with the ActiFry)
2- Wash the potatoes and cut them lengthwise into 1 and 1/2 cm strips
3- Soak the fries in water for at least 30 minutes. Drain them thoroughly and pat them dry with kitchen paper.
4- Crush the chilies very finely in a mortar and mix them with olive oil, pepper and curry powder. Coat the chips with this mixture.
5- Load the chips in the fryer.
AirFryer: Set the timer to 20 minutes with the Airfryer. Shake them a few times during the cooking.
Actifry: Set the timer to 45 minutes.
The chips should be golden brown when done.
6. Serve the chips in a platter and salt to your taste.
Piper potatoes (weight watchers)
Peel & dice Maris Piper potatoes – approx 1cm cubes (slightly larger is fine but not smaller).
Soak to remove excess starch and dry thoroughly.
Add to the air fryer and cook for 5 minutes without adding any oil.
After five minutes add 1tbsp olive oil.
Cook for 20 minutes with the ActiFry or 10 minutes with the AirFryer.
Add chopped red onion.
Cook for further 15 to 20 minutes in the ActiFry until nicely browned. Half that time with the AirFryer.
